Cataclean Ormskirk MotorFest – Sunday 30th August

Celebrating 100 Years of the British Grand Prix

Aintree Circuit Club, in partnership with Cataclean, is delighted to announce the return of the Cataclean Ormskirk MotorFest for 2026.

On Sunday 30th August, Ormskirk town centre and Coronation Park will once again host the North West’s biggest free motoring celebration — a day packed with excitement for car enthusiasts, families, and anyone who enjoys a great day out.

The day begins with the West Lancs Tour, where more than 100 carefully curated vehicles representing over a century of automotive excellence and history will take on a 30‑mile route through the beautiful West Lancashire countryside.

Spectators are warmly encouraged to line the route and enjoy the cars as they pass by.

The recommended viewing route will be published on the MotorFest website one week before the event, giving everyone the chance to pick their perfect spot.

The Tour vehicles will arrive in Ormskirk between 09:30 and 10:30, before being individually positioned in their display paddocks throughout Coronation Park, Aughton Street and Moor Street.

The event officially opens at 11:00, and while entry is completely free, visitors are kindly asked not to arrive before 11:00 to allow vehicles to be safely moved into place.

MotorFest offers something for everyone: stunning classics, modern performance favourites, friendly owners, and a relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere with plenty to explore.

Silcocks Funfair will be in Coronation Park throughout the day, making it a perfect outing for families.

The park will also host a range of refreshment and trade vendors, including the Colbier Craft Brewery, who will be serving a specially brewed MotorFest‑themed beer — “Pole Position Pale Ale”, a nod to the event’s motorsport heritage and the 100th anniversary of the British Grand Prix.
